Yes - Columbia moving systems is open 24/7.Our offices are open on Weekends and our trucks are operating and moving every day of the week.
Q- How do I confirm my move?
You can call 1-800-707-0945 and Columbia moving systems representative will call the day before
your move to confirm your move with you.
Q- Will Columbia moving systems insure my move?
Yes - Under the movers law we are required to insure your items for 30 cents/local
60 cents/long distance per pound per article for any material that is transported.
However you can purchase additional insurance from companies such as
MovingInsurance.com or Baker Moving insurance.
Q-How do I lock in my moving date?
You can lock in a moving date calling our office 800-707-0945 and placing a deposit
with one of our customer representatives.
Q-What forms of payment does Columbia moving systems take?
We accept Visa, Master Card,Amex, Discover card, and cash. The only type of checks we accept is cashiers check or certified checks.
Q- If I need to cancel my move what do I need to do?
If you need to cancel your move, then we advise you to do so as soon as you find out.
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy:
you must let us know about your cancellation 48 hours before your moving date.
Q- I'm in a bit of an emergency, can you move me on short notice?
Yes! We can move you on short notice but you would have
to call our office as soon as possible for more information.
Yes, all furniture is wrapped with quilt pads for protection at no extra charge.
Q- Do I pack or does Columbia moving systems pack for me?
You have a choice to pack your own items or you can have
our professional movers pack and label all your items.
Q- When does the clock start running on my move?
The time starts when the movers get to your door, but we do have a standard 1-hour travel time
that's tacked on at the end of the move
(this 1 hour is for the time to drive to your location and back to our office).
Q- Can I buy moving boxes from you?
Yes, we can bring boxes on the day of the move or you can have a moving box delivery
before your actual move date.
